Why were my verification documents not accepted?

Our US & Nigerian brokerage partners require that we verify your identity to safely open your brokerage account. Here are a few reasons why your documents might not be accepted: 

Rejected Info Photo ID
Photo ID1. Blurry DocumentThe details on the document provided cannot be clearly seen/ are too dark due to poor image quality. Please re-upload a clearer image. For your proof of Identification, you can make use of any of these documents as long as it is still valid (NIMC, International passport, Voter's card, driver's licence)
2. The ID does not matchThe details on the ID uploaded does not match the details on your profile. Kindly upload a valid means of ID that matches your full name, Date of Birth, Passport Image and gender i.e (Drivers license, Int'l passport, National ID, Permanent Voters card)
3. No Image passport on IDThere is no image on the document you provided. please reupload a valid document that carries your image on it. You can make use of a valid Driver's License, Voter's card, International Passport or National ID card
4. Cropped ImageA part of the document is cropped/cut out and is not showing all the edges and vital information contained (e.g  Expiration date, Id number, image photo). Kindly re-upload any of these valid documents (NIMC, International passport, Voter'scard, driver's licence)  showing all important/required information contained.
5. Expired DocumentThe uploaded document has expired/exceeded the validity period You would need to reupload a valid document (Drivers license, Int'l passport, National ID, Permanent Voters card)
6. Invalid DocumentThe Photo ID is not a Govt/recognised Institution's approved document, you will need to re-upload a valid document i.e (Drivers license, Int'l passport, National ID, Permanent Voters card)
7. Image SizeThe document uploaded is too small to view the details on it, please reupload clearer and viewable document, showing all the required details (please note the document size should not be more than 5MB)
8. Wrong Document formatThe Image uploaded is not in the correct format required. Kindly ensure your document is uploaded in JPG, PDF, PNG or JPEG

Address Proof
Proof of Address1. Blurry DocumentThe document uploaded as your address proof is blurry. Details on the image cannot be clearly seen/ too dark due to poor image quality. Kindly upload a clearer document, ensure there is adequate lighting and the details are readable.
You can make use of these documents as your proof of Address as long as it carries your current address filled on it: (Electricity bill, Water bill, waste bill or your bank statement if they are not more than 6months old, and a Valid driver's licence or Permanent voter's card)
2. Address MismatchThe address on the document provided does not match the address registered on your profile. Please make sure your address matches the address on the document uploaded. You can make use of these documents as your proof of Address as long as it carries your current address filled on it: (Electricity bill, Water bill, waste bill or your bank statement not more than 3months old, and a Valid driver's licence or Permanent voter's card)
3. Cropped Imagepart of the document uploaded is cropped out and not fully showing all the edges and vital information contained (eg: Expiration date, Id number). Kindly reupload a clear and fully captured document, showing all the required details (please note the document size should not be more than 5mb)
4. Expired/Outdated Documentthe uploaded document has exceeded the validity period. You would need to reupload a valid document (You can make use of your utility bills or bank statements not older than 3months and your valid Voter's card or Driver's license if it carries your address on it)
5. Invalid Documentthe document uploaded is not a government approved document, You can make use of these documents as your proof of Address as long as it carries your current address filled on it: (Electricity bill, Water bill, waste bill or your bank statement not more than 3months old, and a Valid driver's license or Permanent voter's card)
6. Missing important informationyour address proof document does not contain your address. Kindly reupload a document that has your address on it. You can make use of these documents as your proof of Address (Electricity bill, Water bill, waste bill or your bank statement not more than 3months old, and a Valid driver's licence or Permanent voter's card)
7. Image SizeDocument uploaded is too small to view the details on it, please reupload clearer and viewable document, showing all the required details (please note the document size should not be more than 5MB)
